ABOUT THE ARTIST

hello, i'm jessie sandager...student of the art of living and the art of loving. i also happen to have a camera in my hands pretty much always. i am grateful and humbled to have been led down a path of witnessing and capturing the beauty of who we are and how we are connected....all of us (yes, EACH and EVERY one) by the one thing we have in common: LOVE.

i strive to photograph how it felt not just what it looked like and capture the artful little moments that map out our lives. each person is unique and that’s where the real beauty of this human experience can be found. even our most mundane moments are extraordinary and fleeting. i’m here to help you notice, embrace and remember them.

i have been shooting professionally for over 15 years in minnesota and my clients have taken me on adventures to finland, england, italy, france and across the US. i have extensive experience working with children on the spectrum as well as with those who have other special needs. i am fluent in american sign language. my work has been featured in multiple publications, you can find my commercial portfolio here.
